When I started writing this I didn’t realize how many magicians that made Magie Montréal, the great and fun loving convention that it was, had passed away. This blog is a tribute to them, to the performers who graced our stage and close-up tables that are no longer with us. I don’t have photo’s of them all. I probably do, but being the organized person that I am, I can’t find them. When I do, they’ll be posted.

Hi Evy! I’m in a state of shock. I didn’t know Medhi had passed away. From Internet I could find it happened on April 24th, 2013. I’m very, very, surprised. He was only 64! What happened? He died of what cause? He was such afine gentleman from head to toes!!!

I’ve met and had the honor of being entertained and taught by many of these stars of the world of magic and feel that I’ve lost personal friends.

Hi Daniel,
I don’t know the details but he had diabetes and had been sick for a while. The last time I saw him was at a Ted Outerbridge Show in Ville St Laurent. Its very sad.
